Welcome to my website and thank you very much for your interest in my work!
My name is Noemi and I was born in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, the last city of the Camino, where the remains of the Apostle Santiago, one of the twelve, are buried. I considered myself a thematic artist, with the themes of my paintings being drawn from my personal experiences.
Art has been always, since my early days, a main part of my life. As a primary school student, I used to go around all Art Galleries in Santiago regularly, visiting exhibitions from local artists on show. Art was also my favourite subject while a young student.
When I was 9 years old, my aunt Lourdes gave me a truly wonderful present: an easel, a palette and some oil paint tubes, tempting me to follow suit.
Many years has passed since and, somehow, I have found now the confidence to share my paintings with you. I hope you like them!
My Studio
Here is where I work. In the comfort of my own house and in a room with a view to the garden, surrounded by the tranquility of nature and often with wonderful ambience music!
